Neurological Clinic
-- is provided on a quarterly basis to people of all ages free of charge. The clinics are hosted by the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and staffed by physicians from Geisinger Medical Center.
Pennsylvania Elks Home Services
-- provides a nurse to go into the home and acquaint the client and their family with available services. The nurse will also serve as an advocate where necessary and can accompany the client and parents at school, medical, and/or other appointments when necessary. She will assist with obtaining services such as SSI, Medical Assistance, Adaptive Equipment, etc. Counseling clients and parents is also a major function of the service.
