What services are provided through Habilitation, Inc.?

Sub-Contracted Work

We contract with many industries to provide various types of labor tasks such as small and large parts assembly and bulk mailing. All work is completed, inspected, and guaranteed by our supervisors at our facilities. Products are picked up and delivered back to the respective companies or other specified locations.

Employment Services

There are many capable and highly trained individuals ready for permanent employment. The skills and interests of these individuals are matched with the needs of businesses or industries.

Mobil Work Force

Habilitation's Mobil Work Force is trained to provide various types of non-skilled labor. A Habilitation supervisor accompanies the group to save the employer's time in training.

Custodial Services

There are trained crews to provide janitorial/cleaning services along with the capabilities to strip, wax, and buff floors and provide carpet care. These services are available during business hours, as well as evening hours.

The Main Workshop and Warehouse

At the workshop and warehouse, individuals are trained to perform and improve the skills which are needed to obtain and maintain a job in various communities. Please feel free to call us at the workshop if you are interested in any of our services (570)628-5316 or email: mdenapoli@avenuesofpa.org

Avenues' Greenhouse

Avenues' Greenhouse is operated by trained individuals who are either physically or mentally handicapped. These individuals learn all types of planting skills through our greenhouse coordinator, supervisors, and program specialist.

The Greenhouse offers a variety of plants and gift items. We not only have beautiful plants, but we also sell balloon bouquets, planters, seasonal items, fresh flowers and many other creative items. Gift certificates are available and we also provide local delivery. For more information, call (570) 622-7368 or visit 2 Park Street, Agricultural Park, Pottsville, PA 17901 (across from old childrens home which now houses our Administration. 1st left after Good Samaritan Hospital.). Hours for our greenhouse are seasonal.

Avenues' Valley Treasures Thrift Store located in Valley View recently got a new look. Thanks to the kindness and talents of a group of local artists who donated their time on Saturday May 22, 2004, the location will now be more visible to the community. Those who generously donated their time and talents included 2003 Tri Valley High School graduate and Interact President, Alex Bonwit,
2004 Tri Valley High School Interact President Kerry Ensinger, Daniel Bretzius Interact Club Member, Michelle Bretzius, Upper Dauphin Area Elementary School teachers Ann Bonwit and Ruth Ann Klinger. Art teacher Dawn Hoffman-Buss

The mural has created a great deal of excitement and enthusiasm throughout Avenues. We are very grateful.
