Adventures with Avenues Adult Socialization Program is a great way for individuals to spend time with their friends in a social setting. The program offers a great opportunity to gain social skills within the community and provides each individual with the feeling of self worth and independence.

Currently there are thirteen active groups providing activities in different areas of Schuylkill County.  Each group participates in one activity each month.

Activities include:

• Bowling
• Movies
• Local fairs
• Dining out
• Mini golf
• Variety of interesting adventures

In addition to each group's monthly activity, there is an opportunity once a month for a large group activity.  These activities are open to all groups and usually are activities such as dances, plays, amusement parks, tours, etc.

We also offer individualized day or over night trips.
